Welcome to The Plastic Beach

Gorillaz are coming, but don't worry. These Gorillaz won't rip your head off in a fit of rage...well one or two of them probably could. The Gorillaz I speak of is the English virtual band thats been active since the late 90's. Even though there not "real" in a sense, they are nonetheless a favorite band of mine. I've been sold on them since I first saw the vid for their song "Clint Eastwood" on Toonami's The Midnight Run segment as a kid. The alternative, yet trippy sound they had hooked me instantly. So i find joy that their third studio album "Plastic Beach" is due for release in the U.S. on March 9 (its out already in Japan so go find it yourself). Leading off with what I think is a great single that different, yet classic Gorillaz, I have high hopes for this album. I'm done rappin now so I leave you with the recently released vid for the first single "Stylo" featuring Mos Def and Bobby Womack.



By the way had to mention, 2010 is starting off pretty well with music. Gorillaz, and Sade just name a few.

Kick Ass Much?

A recent song was brought to my attention courtesy of mftor (http://mftor.blogspot.com btw).
Its called I'm Anime by DruidboyZ and I gotta say...this sound is my new fave. I listen to alot of stuff, but when I hear music like this, idk, hip hop seems bearable for the most part (?). Anyway, vid posted at the end, its the first song in the vid. Do enjoy.

The More I Get The More I Want?

Lets not focus on the amount of time thats passed since i last updated this darn thing and just say "shibby" to me being back at it. =D

Long version or short version for life to this point? In between? okay lets go.

Got a job, freshman at Montgomery College, semester is almost over, music is awesome as ever, currently thinkn of gettin myself into a long distance relationship, thinkin of changing jobs.

Guess that was the short version then? we'll go wit that.

Gotta say, i've gotten into so much new music the last few months too. Wiz Khalifa, Emarosa, Pierce The Veil, Big Sean, just to name a few. Shit is cool.

Thats really it for now...not much of an substatial update, but an update nonetheless ya know?
