Welcome to The Plastic Beach

Gorillaz are coming, but don't worry. These Gorillaz won't rip your head off in a fit of rage...well one or two of them probably could. The Gorillaz I speak of is the English virtual band thats been active since the late 90's. Even though there not "real" in a sense, they are nonetheless a favorite band of mine. I've been sold on them since I first saw the vid for their song "Clint Eastwood" on Toonami's The Midnight Run segment as a kid. The alternative, yet trippy sound they had hooked me instantly. So i find joy that their third studio album "Plastic Beach" is due for release in the U.S. on March 9 (its out already in Japan so go find it yourself). Leading off with what I think is a great single that different, yet classic Gorillaz, I have high hopes for this album. I'm done rappin now so I leave you with the recently released vid for the first single "Stylo" featuring Mos Def and Bobby Womack.



By the way had to mention, 2010 is starting off pretty well with music. Gorillaz, and Sade just name a few.
